Green Sun Rising (GSR) is your reliable partner for PV modules and complete solar PV system solutions. As a supplier of complete solar systems, Green Sun Rising uses advanced and proven solar photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal technology. We design, develop and implement PV projects of all sizes and have completed a number of solar projects in Ontario, but also into British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Labrador, Nunavut and Québec. To date we have successfully implemented well over 500 grid-connected solar PV systems in Canada, with over 4,000 kW combined AC power, plus over 100 solar thermal systems.
Our Europe-based partner companies have also successfully installed well over two thousand solar PV systems, mostly in Europe. Experience and quality that speaks for itself.

We are located in the Renewable Energy Technology Center (RET-Center) at 1680 Kildare Road in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and operate a mounting system manufacturing division under the mounts4solar trademark. GSR believes in efficient, green technology such as electric vehicles (EVs). We operate two EVs as company vehicles and provide EV charging stations attached to our solar carports, free of charge for visitors and those who need a quick charge. As a pioneering force in Canada combining solar PV with EV charging, we formed an EV association called EV4Solar with yearly gatherings at the RET-Center. We are also partnered with and are founding members our local chapter of the EV Society (Windsor-Essex) – formerly WEEVA.
