Reader Letter: Detroit River? No, Windsor River

“In line with Trump’s renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, I suggest we change the name of the Detroit River to Windsor River.

We have shared this river for over 200 years between our two cities, during which Detroit had its name attached to the waterway. Now, Windsor should claim the name rights for the next 200 years, in an act of sharing good neighbourliness, and fairness.”
